Eliza's recital

Eliza had her first official dance recital here in Arizona last Saturday. She fell asleep right before we got there so she was not willing to smile for me in the pictures, but here's a shot of her costume. Her dance was a cute little 90 second number that she tapped to Singing in the Rain. She did a great job considering she's just 3. :) I'll have to post the actual dance on here when i get the DVD back. I couldn't record it myself (facility rules, grr...) so I had to pay for $30 a DVD. I am feeling a little bit annoyed with all the extra costs involved with this studio. Not only do I pay $40/mo for tuition but i had to pay $60 for her costume and $13 per ticket to see the recital! Rediculous, huh? Ah well... She's loves dance class so much, but I think we are going to take her out for the summer since we'll be doing a lot more swimming and then a new baby and such. Not to mention it's a little expensive at the moment. We are hoping to find her a less-expensive dance class option for the fall. Perhaps someone who teaches out of their home or something... We have one lady we'll be calling, but if you know of anyone let me know!

Door #2: Swimming pool weather!

We opened up our pool the end of April because it is getting up in the 90's here now (102 yesterday) and our pool is finally warm enough to swim in! Yay! The kids are so excited to swim, and quite frankly so am I! Now that I am in my 3rd trimester, I could use some bouyancy right about now...

Door #1: A NEW VAN!!

We've been talking about buying a new car for awhile and even though I had a bit of disdain for vans in general, we decided that a van would be the most economical and most user-friendly for our soon-to-be family of 5! So, we did a little research--okay a lot of research--and decided that a used Toyota Sienna was right for us! This one's a 2005 and we got a great deal from a wholesale dealer, which means we were able to get a warranty with it as well (I am such a worry wart, I don't know if I could handle buying something this expensive without one!). It is actually pretty fun to drive and the kids LOVE it. Yay, I am a van mom! HAHAHA!!

Grass! Yay!!!

Shiloh and I (with a help from my dad and a neighbor too) laid down some sod in our backyard today! Wahoo! We've been wanting to put something in the middle of our yard for quite some time (it has just been dirt since we moved in). We decided to put in some grass where the previous owners had installed sprinklers. We have yet to fill in the outer areas with rock, but that is a project for another day. For now we are just enjoying the new grass! The kids love it, as seen here in the photos.

DISNEY CRUISE AND DISNEYWORLD!!

Shiloh's family took us on a vacation this past week to Florida and the kids had the most amazing time!!! We took a 3-day cruise to the Bahamas on the Disney Cruise Ship and then we spent a couple of days in Disneyworld. Thank you Gramma and Papa Behle! Here are some pictures from our trip... As you can see, Eliza was in heaven with all the princesses. And Ezra created a wonderful love for Mickey Mouse!!

Fruit trees, yah!!

So we are working on our yard these days (little by little). We decided the first thing that needs to go in is trees! We put a couple plams in the front and then 3 fruit trees in the back! We are so excited about these trees. We hope we can keep them alive! Shiloh is in love with his Mango tree (and since it is the most delicate, he has actually prayed over it.)
