Retro Camera App

So, I have a Android phone now.  We switched from Sprint over to Verizon for a myriad of reasons and let me tell you what, this phone is amazing! Go me and my Samsung Fascinate!  I hardly get on my computer anymore because I can check my email, facebook, blog, and pretty much anything else I want to do on the internet right on my phone.  It's really quite scary how much time I could waste on this thing.

But, anyhow, last night I discovered this fantastic app, Retro Camera.  It has five retro cameras you can choose from to take pictures with, and then gives you the output that particular old camera would have done (be it washed out colors, scratchy edges, etc...)  Take a look at a couple pics I took on it this morning:

Pretty amazing that my phone can take these kinds of pictures, right?  Thanks Retro Camera App.

Christmas Re-Cap

It's a month later, but I realized that not only have I neglected my blog for that entire time, but I didn't post anything about our Christmas Eve and Christmas morning.  Here are some pics to do the talking for me.

Christmas Eve the Johnson cousins acted out the Nativity.  We are still working on our costuming budget. :)

We are all about NOT spoiling our kids.  Ashlyn got two things this year: a baby, and a stroller.  Both were a huge hit, however.  I know my child so well.

The older kids got harmonica's just like Papa Johnson's.  They were so excited to play with him!

And that's it!  It was a great Christmas! Short and sweet.  I am sure I forgot a lot of details that I would have included had I written closer to the event, but, I may put off writing these posts in the future, just to ensure my brevity. :)
